The New York State Maple Producers Association (NYSMPA) is a not-for-profit organization composed of the folks who produce maple syrup and related maple products throughout New York State.
The Problem
The New York State Maple Producers Association was on a quest for some new ideas, and searched throughout the state for an advertising agency that could bring the change that was needed. Budgets were limited, and the aspirations were high. Marketing New York State Maple Syrup, against far away maple syrup and inferior artificial products was a daunting task.
The Solution
The Board of Directors and the Executive Director chose Zoey Advertising to tackle the challenge of branding the organization, which our team passionately accepted. A new brand focusing on pure New York Maple and logo were developed after significant research, and deep collaboration for maple producers state wide. Marketing efforts included outdoor advertising throughout New York, strategically targeted digital and social media marketing, the promotion of “Maple Weekends” at 100’s of local farms, print publications, print advertising, public relations, and sales and marketing support for the massive exposure that New York Maple has at the Great New York State Fair every year. The Results
The Association now has a clear focus and mission, and has continued to increase its influence and membership. Consumers are more aware that New York Maple is a healthier and more natural option over artificial maple and sweeteners. Strict budgets have been adhered to, and the return in the marketing investments have been measurable.
